We are seeking a SPECIAL PROCEDURE & DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST in Wausau, Wisconsin at Aspirus Wausau Hospital who performs radiographic examinations of the highest possible quality while limiting radiation exposure and using conventional, fluoroscopic, portable and c-arm imaging equipment. Assists with diagnostic peripheral vascular (PV) procedures to patients of all ages. Complies with measures to assure that patient/customer satisfaction results are consistently maintained. Appropriately supervises students according to competency level. Complies with and provides leadership in maintaining an environment that supports our philosophy and values.
- Knowledge of radiological standards and procedures normally acquired through completion of a diploma from an approved AMA school of radiological technology, an Associate's Degree in Radiology, or other manner to meet requirements of the ARRT and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure.
- Minimum of two years' working full time in Diagnostic Imaging necessary to enhance and develop skills, with previous experience in Operating Room procedures preferred.
- Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Possesses State of Wisconsin Radiographer license.
Hours: Full time Benefit package available, 64 hours per 2 weeks, varied Diagnostic X-ray shifts and Peripheral Vascular shifts from 7am - 3:30pm followed by Call, Every 5th weekend and every 5th holiday or as needed to fulfill department needs
