Divine Savior Healthcare Quality Assurance (PI)

Full-time, Day Shift, 8:00am-4:30pm

Collects and analyzes data related to the quality of services provided and the effectiveness of those services in meeting patients' needs for Clinic services. Facilitates implementation of improvement activities based on findings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Coordinates a comprehensive quality improvement plan for the Divine Savior Healthcare clinics which includes the Physician Group, Surgical Group and Specialty Group.
  2. Collects and tabulates data on quality indicators.
  3. Prepares reports on quality indicators and Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).
  4. Provides quality assurance reports to directors and Administrative Team as appropriate.
  5. Assists service providers to develop and implement programs to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of services and to implement improvements.
  6. Participates in development of outcome measures and benchmarks for services.
  7. Facilitates and/or participates in performance improvement teams.
  8. Assists in developing and monitoring patient satisfaction program.
  9. Assists with the day-to-day quality operations of the facility and any other duties assigned.
  10. Models the Divine Service Standards in all interactions and activities.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
  • Current Wisconsin license as a Registered Nurse.
  • One year Quality Assurance or related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Relationship:

  • Reports directly to the Performance Improvement Director.
  • Regular contact with providers, Clinic Directors, Clinic Supervisor and Quality Analysts.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed largely in a pleasant hospital environment with minimal chance for personal injury.
  • Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation.
  • Regular exposure to hazardous materials such as needle punctures and exposure to blood and body fluids.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
  • Occasionally required to sit or climb.
  • Required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of department supplies and equipment.
  • Occasionally may need to move patients and/or equipment of more than 100 pounds.
  • Requires specific vision abilities for far vision, near vision, depth perception, colors, accommodation and peripheral vision.
  • Vision correctable to 20/40.
