POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the execution of activities aimed at creating and maintaining a favorable image of Divine Savior Healthcare.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the creation, planning and coordination of public relations activities including community events, business gatherings, photo opportunities and tours that create positive outcomes for Divine Savior.
Researches and produces press release articles that support Divine Saviors general image or enhance product awareness.
Maintains positive working relationships with area media. Acts as primary media contact as needed.
Assists in the fulfillment of Public Relations Requests for Materials from Department Directors as assigned.
Produces content for Divine Savior internal and external print and online publications in accordance with Graphic Standards.
Provides copy editing and proofreading assistance in accordance with Graphic Standards.
Maintains news clippings and photo archiving system.
Social Media Management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in digital media, public relations, journalism, communications, marketing, or related program.
Two years related experience.
Excellent computer skills in a variety of software programs; including Microsoft Office Suite, design and desktop publishing programs.
Ability to independently remain on task and self-motivated.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Reports directly to the Marketing & Community Relations Director.
Works closely with the Vice Presidents and Department Directors.
Works regularly with vendors, public, businesses, community and civic organizations.
