POSITION SUMMARY: This individual is responsible for receiving, counting, replenishing, and distributing products and equipment throughout the business unit(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Checks and replenishes supplies at our nursing home Tivoli.
Prepares inventory transactions, receiving and requisition of supply items and expedites delivery of goods.
Places inventory items in the proper location, rotating stock and removing outdated products. Labels and restocks patient charge items appropriately.
Maintains the computer inventory system in a timely and accurate manner. Performs inventories to ensure accuracy of computer system.
Makes corrections, deletions and adjustments to quantities of materials stocked in relation to the PAR level system.
Prepares and maintains pertinent records, reports, statistics, files and other documents as required for department operations.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Must have basic typing, computer and data entry skills.
Knowledge of medical supplies and medical terminology is helpful.
Good oral and written communication skills.
