Aspirus Keweenaw is currently seeking a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT in Laurium, Michigan to work in Ambulatory Surgery at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting and providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The CNA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients, and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse. This position will cross-train to inpatient departments.
- Knowledge of patient care and customer service standards normally obtained through a high school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a nursing assistant course and listed on the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry.
- Current CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
Hours: This position is full time; 0.9 FTE or 36 hours per week. Primarily day shift M-Th but may be scheduled some nights if needed. Full time benefits package available.
