POSITION SUMMARY: Processes patient accounts in a timely and accurate manner by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Accurately prepares insurance claims according to established standard.
* Reviews UB-92, 1500 and electronic billing systems for accuracy.
* Assures accurate patient records on a daily basis.
* Remains current with regulatory changes regarding claims processing.
* Demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of billing policies and procedures.
* Prepares pertinent records, reports, statistics, files and other documents as required.

Additional Duties
* Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
* Six Months related experience or training.
* Proficiently uses computer and calculator.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
